Who we are:

Durango Day Camp is the best summer camp in Durango, and here's why!

We are a small program. We limit our group size so that your child can be kept safe and receive lots of on-on-one attention! In addition, the campers get to know each other very well.

We spend most of our time in creative play. Your child will spend their days building forts, contributing to our "village" in the woods, and spending "dingos" at their friend's shops. They are active and creative every day at camp.

This summer (2022) we will be offering an exclusive dog training camp! Click on the registration page for more information!

At Durango Day Camp we teach kids to manage their own conflicts. We use an approach that teaches kids how to reason through a problem and come up with creative solutions on their own, offering support if needed.

And perhaps the most important thing, our staff loves kids! We love to get to know them, spend time with them, and teach them new things. It is our passion, and that shows!

Child Safety

Safety is our top priority at Durango Day Camp. Our staff receives extensive training on camper safety.

Our counselors are constantly engaging with the kids so we always know what is going on and where everybody is.
